Kanchanaburi River Kwai SUP Paddleboarding Experience

Explore Kanchanaburi's Kwai Yai River by stand-up paddleboard with Paddle More Thailand. Our instructor-led SUP experience is designed around paddling the river rather than simply staying at one location, with different routes offered for the morning and afternoon sessions.

The morning route covers approximately 4.8 km from Wat Tha Nam Tuen to the Bridge over the River Kwai, with the route focused on the scenery along both sides of the Kwai Yai River. The afternoon route covers approximately 4 km from Wat Tha Makham to Ban Yang Canal, following the river past the Bridge over the River Kwai area and Wat Thaworn Wararam. Step-by-step paddling instruction and photo service are provided during the experience.

Experience Itinerary

- Meet our team at Paddle More Thailand in Kanchanaburi.

- Receive SUP paddling instructions before entering the river.

- Begin the selected morning or afternoon paddling route on the Kwai Yai River.

- Paddle downstream with our team while exploring the riverside scenery.

- Stop for photos during the paddling session.

- Complete the route at the designated end point for your selected session.

Experience Options

Morning Sesh

- Session time: 07:00-10:00

- Paddling distance: approximately 4.8 km

- Route starts at Wat Tha Nam Tuen.

- Paddle along the Kwai Yai River to the Bridge over the River Kwai.

Afternoon Sesh

- Session time: 15:00-18:00

- Paddling distance: approximately 4 km

- Route runs from Wat Tha Makham to Ban Yang Canal.

- Paddle along the Kwai Yai River with views around the Bridge over the River Kwai.

- Pass the area in front of Wat Thaworn Wararam before entering Ban Yang Canal.
