Cappadocia Horse Riding Experience with Moonlight Horse Ranch in Goreme
At Moonlight Horse Ranch, we have been organizing guided horseback riding experiences in Goreme, Cappadocia for more than 20 years. Our rides are suitable for both beginners and experienced riders, with a short introduction provided before departure and experienced guides accompanying the group.
Our riding areas include Love Valley, Rose Valley, Sword Valley, Red Valley, Pigeon Valley, Cavusin and the landscapes surrounding Goreme. We offer 1-hour and 2-hour rides as well as sunrise and sunset experiences. Sunrise rides are scheduled around the morning hot air balloon activity, while our sunset route combines several valleys with an evening viewpoint.
Helmets and necessary safety equipment are provided. Our published experiences have a maximum group size of 20 riders, a minimum age of 7 years and a maximum rider weight of 90 kg.
Experience Itinerary
Sunset Horse Riding Experience
- Start from the Moonlight Horse Ranch area in Goreme.
- Ride through Sword Valley.
- Pass the Girls Monastery area.
- Continue through Rose Valley.
- Short stop in Cavusin Village.
- Continue toward Love Valley.
- Watch the sunset during the final part of the riding experience.
- Return after approximately 2 hours.
Experience Options
1-Hour Horse Riding Experience
- 1-hour guided horseback ride.
- Suitable for beginners and experienced riders.
- Maximum 20 participants.
2-Hour Horse Riding Experience
- 2-hour guided horseback ride.
- Extended riding experience through the Cappadocia landscape.
- Maximum 20 participants.
Sunrise Horse Riding Experience with Balloons
- 1-hour guided early-morning ride.
- Scheduled according to sunrise and balloon flight times.
- Maximum 20 participants.
Sunset Horse Riding Experience
- 2-hour guided ride.
- Route includes Sword Valley, the Girls Monastery area, Rose Valley, Cavusin and Love Valley.
- Departure time varies according to seasonal sunset time.
- Maximum 20 participants.
