Bangkok Ceramic Hand-Building and Painting Experience at Sanit Handmade
At Sanit Handmade in Bangkok, we teach pottery, ceramics and painting through hands-on creative workshops suitable for beginners. No previous pottery or art experience is required, and our instructors guide participants throughout the activity.
Our C1 Ceramic Hand-Forming Workshop combines shaping and decorating in one class. You will learn how to prepare and hand-form clay, create your own design, and decorate it using techniques such as colored slip, sgraffito, stamping and low-relief decoration. After the workshop, our team dries, fires and glazes your finished piece.
Experience Itinerary
- Learn about the clay and the basic hand-forming process.
- Knead the clay to remove trapped air.
- Roll and shape the clay by hand according to your chosen design.
- Decorate your piece using colored slip, sgraffito, stamping or low-relief techniques.
- Leave the finished piece with our team for drying, firing and glazing.
- Finished ceramics are normally ready after approximately 3-4 weeks, depending on conditions.
