Each program offers a different combination of trekking distance, cultural experiences, bamboo rafting, waterfall visits, village stays, and elephant encounters, allowing travelers to choose the adventure that best matches their interests and fitness level.
ITINERARY 7.00 AMPick up at your hotel. We will drive for approximately one and hour drive to our departure point to begin our trek. 9.00 AMBegin our two-hours trek to Lahu village. Walk through luscious jungle broken by patches of banana trees and crops. Listen to the bird song whilst you climb the hill into the canopy of trees. Enjoy a break at the Lahu Village where you are met with a warm welcome from the local tribe. 11.30 AMAM Board a traditional bamboo raft for one hour or two-hour (it’s depends of the seasons) journey along the Mae Tang River* Look out for buffalo bathing in the mud and enjoy the bursts of colour from passing butterflies. If you fancy a refreshing dip roll off the raft and let the current take you along. After bamboo rafting enjoy a delicious authentic lunch prepared by the villagers all served up in a traditional wooden cabin. You will have a chance to interact with the elephants, feeding them, playing with them, and bathing them in the river (no riding!).

FIRST DAY 07:30 AMPick up from your hotel. After a one-hour drive to a local market in the Mae Teang district (north of Chiang Mai), you'll have time to buy essentials like toilet paper and mosquito repellent. Next, we'll head to Mok Fa Waterfall, where you can swim or relax, taking in the beautiful surroundings. 12:30 PMWe’ll have lunch at the restaurant 01:00 PMBegin a 3-4 hour trek through the jungle. Along the way, your guide will share insights about the plants, animals, and villages you encounter, and answer any questions you may have about Thailand or the local culture. At the top of the mountain you will be able to enjoy the breathtaking views of the jungle and surrounding mountains. 5.00 PMArrival at a native Karen tribe village, where you’ll meet your friendly host family. You’ll have the chance to cook over an open fire with your guidefeel free to join in and help prepare a traditional meal together. After dinner, you can relax and enjoy the evening around a campfire.
