Mojo Diver Koh Tao SSI Courses, Fun Dives and Junior Diving Programs

Mojo Diver is a local SSI diving school located at the northern end of Sairee Beach on Koh Tao. With approximately 12 years of experience and thousands of trained students, the centre offers scuba-diving activities ranging from first-time experiences to internationally recognised certifications and professional-level training.

The centre provides confined-water and pool sessions, shore dives and boat-diving trips. Its daily operation can accommodate two morning dives, two afternoon dives and one night dive. Direct transfer from the beachfront to the dive boat is provided as part of the operational setup. Accommodation and island taxi assistance, underwater photography and videography services are also available.

Diving Programs:

SSI Try Scuba : A one-day introduction with two dives. The first dive includes basic skills in shallow water to a maximum of 5 metres; the second is a guided exploration dive to a maximum of 12 metres. No previous diving experience is required. The published schedule runs approximately from 10:30 to 16:00.

SSI Scuba Diver: A two-day certification course covering theory, confined-water or pool training and two open-water training dives. Certified divers may dive to a maximum of 12 metres under professional supervision.

SSI Open Water Diver: A three-day beginner certification comprising academic training, confined-water skills and four open-water dives. Successful participants receive an internationally recognised certification permitting dives to a maximum of 18 metres. The adult course page states a minimum age of 15.

Advanced Open Water : A two-day program consisting of five adventure or specialty dives. Possible subjects include deep diving to 30 metres, night diving, navigation, perfect buoyancy, wreck diving and Nitrox. The published itinerary includes two afternoon dives, one night dive and two morning dives. A recognised diving certification is required.

SSI Specialty Programs Price on request: Available subjects include Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Nitrox, Night Diving, Navigation and Perfect Buoyancy. Open Water certification or an equivalent qualification is required. Two completed specialty programs and at least 12 logged dives qualify a participant for the SSI Specialty Diver rating.

Guided Fun Dives Price on request: Available to certified divers. Mojo schedules up to five dives daily: two morning dives, two afternoon dives and one night dive. Dive sites are selected according to certification level, sea conditions and the daily boat plan.

Rescue Diver and Divemaster: Both programs are offered, but their duration, prerequisites and prices are not currently published on the website and should be requested directly from the operator.

Junior Diving Programs

Junior Try Scuba : For children aged eight and above. This one-day introductory program includes a controlled pool or confined-water session followed by one or two dives, depending on the selected option.

Junior Scuba Diver : For ages 1014. A two-day certification with pool training and two open-water dives. Maximum depth is 12 metres under professional supervision.

Junior Open Water Diver : A three-day course with confined-water training and four open-water dives. Divers aged 1011 are limited to 12 metres with a certified adult; ages 1214 may dive to 18 metres with a certified adult.
