Known for its warm, clear water, colourful coral reefs and abundant marine life, Koh Tao provides an excellent environment for both first-time divers and experienced scuba enthusiasts. Coral Grand Divers offers a selection of PADI diving courses, refresher training and guided recreational dives, allowing you to choose the experience that best matches your certification and confidence level.

Training is conducted in a relaxed and supportive environment. Depending on the selected course, initial skills may be introduced in the resort’s swimming pool or a sheltered bay before participants progress to open-water dives.

Courses are available from beginner to professional levels, with instruction offered in multiple languages, including English, Thai, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Danish and Swedish.

Scuba Review Course

Ideal for certified divers who have not been diving for an extended period and would like to refresh their knowledge and practical skills before joining open-water dives.

Participants review important scuba concepts digitally before returning to the water with a dive professional. The programme is designed to help divers rebuild confidence and prepare safely for their next diving experience.

Discover Scuba Diving

Designed for complete beginners who want to experience scuba diving without immediately committing to a full certification course.

Learn the fundamental principles of scuba diving, practise essential skills under professional supervision and experience diving in the waters of Koh Tao.

According to the operator’s published programme, this option includes one day of diving and two nights of accommodation. A minimum of one day’s advance notice is required.

PADI Open Water Diver Course

Earn your first internationally recognised PADI scuba-diving certification in Koh Tao.

This four-day entry-level course consists of:

Five academic learning sessions

Five confined-water sessions in a swimming pool or sheltered bay

Four open-water dives

Training with a certified PADI instructor

Diving to a maximum depth of 18 metres after successfully completing the required training

The course combines theoretical knowledge, practical skill development and supervised open-water experience.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver Course

Take your diving skills and confidence to the next level with this two-day advanced course.

The programme includes five adventure dives:

One mandatory deep dive

One mandatory underwater navigation dive

Three additional elective dives

Participants must already hold an appropriate entry-level scuba-diving certification. The operator requires at least one day’s advance notice.

Guided Fun Diving Two Dives

Certified divers can explore two of Koh Tao’s dive sites on a guided recreational diving trip.

Koh Tao offers more than 25 dive sites, and Coral Grand Divers operates two trips per day, with two dives scheduled on each trip. Final dive sites are selected according to weather, sea conditions and participant experience.

Diving equipment, a professional guide and refreshments aboard the boat are included.
