Wake Up! Wakeboarding Experience in Koh Phangan

Ride across the calm waters of Chaloklum Bay with Wake Up! Wakeboarding, one of the Gulf of Thailand’s established professional wakeboarding centres. Surrounded by Koh Phangan’s northern mountains, the approximately three-kilometre bay is naturally protected from wind and often provides smooth conditions for learning and practising.

The experience welcomes complete beginners and experienced riders. Qualified English-speaking instructors provide guidance appropriate to your ability, from learning the correct starting position and standing on the board to improving turns, jumps and wake-to-wake techniques.

The Experience

Arrival and Equipment Setup

Meet the team in Chaloklum, choose suitable equipment and receive an introduction to the boat, board, bindings and safety procedures.

Instruction and Water Start

Beginners learn body position, board control and how to stand up safely. Experienced riders can discuss the skills or tricks they want to practise with the instructor.

Wakeboarding in Chaloklum Bay

Ride behind the purpose-built 21-foot wake boat across the sheltered bay. The boat’s wake can be adjusted to provide beginner-friendly conditions or a stronger wake for advanced riding.
