GRACE Kayaking Ao Nang Self-Guided Sea Kayak Rental to Railay and Phra Nang

Explore the coastline between Ao Nang and Railay at your own pace with a kayak rental from GRACE Kayaking. The rental point is located at the southern end of Ao Nang Beach, close to the Monkey Trail, providing convenient access to nearby beaches, limestone cliffs and the Railay Peninsula.

Choose from single, double or three-person kayaks and rent by the hour, for four hours or for the entire day. Short rentals are ideal for paddling around Ao Nang and Pai Plong, while experienced paddlers can select the four-hour option to reach Tonsai, Railay West and Phra Nang Beach when sea conditions are suitable.

This is primarily an independent rental experience rather than a guided tour.

Suggested Kayaking Route

GRACE Kayaking Ao Nang Beach

Collect your kayak at the rental point near Ao Nang Soi 15 and the entrance to the Monkey Trail. Staff provide the equipment and basic safety instructions before departure.

Pai Plong Beach

Paddle around the small headland beside Monkey Trail to reach peaceful Pai Plong Beach. This nearby section is suitable for guests selecting a shorter rental.

Tonsai Beach

Continue south beneath Krabi’s limestone cliffs towards Tonsai Beach. The beach is known for its relaxed atmosphere and dramatic rock-climbing scenery.

Railay West Beach

Experienced paddlers can continue to Railay West, where restaurants and cafs provide an opportunity to rest before returning or continuing the journey.

Phra Nang Beach

With a four-hour rental and favourable sea conditions, it may be possible to reach Phra Nang Beach and its famous limestone scenery. This longer route involves open-water paddling and should only be attempted after consulting the staff.

Return to Ao Nang

Follow the coastline back to GRACE Kayaking and return the equipment before the selected rental period ends.
