Nha Trang Bay Discover Scuba Diving Experience for Beginners

We are Vietnam Active, a PADI 5 Star Dive Center in Nha Trang offering scuba diving, freediving and snorkeling programs. Our Discover Scuba Diving experience is designed for beginners who want to try scuba diving without enrolling in a full certification course.

The experience includes two supervised dives at two different dive sites in Nha Trang Bay. Depending on the conditions and the dive plan for the day, we operate around Hon Mun, Hon Tam or Dam Bay. Before entering the water, our dive professional provides a detailed safety briefing, introduces the equipment and teaches basic scuba skills. The maximum participant-to-dive-professional ratio for this program is 2:1.

Hotel pickup is normally around 07:30. The day includes boat transportation, scuba equipment, breakfast refreshments, two dive sessions and a Vietnamese lunch before returning to the harbor at approximately 14:00.

Experience Itinerary

- Around 07:30 - Hotel pickup by air-conditioned vehicle; exact pickup time depends on the hotel location.

- Transfer to the harbor and board our dive boat.

- Approximately 45-minute boat journey through Nha Trang Bay toward the selected dive area.

- Light breakfast with fresh fruit, snacks, coffee, tea and water during the journey.

- Receive scuba equipment and a detailed safety and skills briefing.

- First dive site - Spend approximately 60 to 90 minutes at the first location, including preparation and diving activities.

- Travel by boat to the second dive site.

- Second dive site - Spend approximately one hour at the second location for the second supervised dive.

- Vietnamese buffet lunch is served onboard, with vegetarian options available.

- Around 14:00 - Return to the harbor followed by hotel drop-off.

Important Information

- Starting time: Hotel pickup is normally around 07:30 and may vary depending on your hotel location.

- Return: The boat normally arrives back at the harbor at approximately 14:00.

- Dive locations are selected according to the daily plan and may include areas around Hon Mun, Hon Tam or Dam Bay.

- Included: Scuba diving equipment including a dive computer, boat transportation, marine park and diving fees, professional dive supervision, hotel pickup and drop-off, onboard food and drinks and international diving insurance.

- Meals and drinks include light breakfast refreshments and a Vietnamese buffet lunch. Vegetarian options are available.

- Participants must review the diver medical questionnaire before joining.

- Recreational scuba diving requires suitable physical and mental health. Some medical conditions may require evaluation by a physician before diving.

- Do not fly after scuba diving until the required post-dive surface interval has passed.
