Cat Ba Lan Ha Bay Rock Climbing and Kayaking Experience with Boat Cruise
Discover rock climbing and sea kayaking in Lan Ha Bay with Langur's Adventures, a Cat Ba-based outdoor adventure operator established in 2019. Our full-day experience combines guided limestone rock climbing, kayaking through sheltered lagoons, and a traditional boat cruise through the bay.
Travel by boat to a climbing location surrounded by limestone cliffs. Our trained guides provide climbing instructions, safety equipment, and assistance throughout the activity. With climbing routes reaching approximately 22 metres, the experience accommodates different ability levels, including beginners.
After climbing, enjoy lunch before exploring Lan Ha Bay by kayak. Paddle through quieter waterways and lagoons surrounded by limestone formations. Our small-group format, limited to 10 participants, allows our guides to provide individual attention during the activities.
Experience Itinerary
- 08:00 - Meeting and Departure: Meet our team at the designated meeting location in Cat Ba Town and prepare for the day's activities.
- Morning Boat Cruise: Travel aboard a traditional boat through Lan Ha Bay toward the climbing area.
- Guided Rock Climbing: Receive climbing instructions and safety guidance from our trained guides. Climb limestone rock faces using ropes, harnesses, helmets, and climbing equipment. Routes are selected according to participants' abilities.
- Lunch Break: Enjoy lunch during the excursion and relax before the afternoon activity.
- Afternoon Kayaking: Explore sheltered lagoons and waterways around Lan Ha Bay by kayak. Paddle beneath limestone cliffs and discover quieter areas of the bay.
- Return Boat Journey: Rejoin the boat and travel back toward Cat Ba.
- 17:45 - Scheduled Finish: Conclude the experience and return to the designated meeting location.
