Samsun Tandem Paragliding with FlySamsun at Four Regional Flight Areas
At FlySamsun, we provide tandem paragliding experiences in Samsun with experienced pilots and dedicated tandem flight equipment. No previous paragliding training is required; our pilot guides you through the take-off procedure before flying together.
We operate from several flight areas around Samsun, including Canik Gultepe, Bafra Kapikaya, Ladik Akdag and Yakakent Yelkentepe. Canik Gultepe is our most frequently used location because of its proximity to Samsun city center. The final flight area is selected according to the planned activity and suitable meteorological conditions.
We continuously evaluate the weather before operating. Our tandem equipment includes a reserve parachute, and flights take place only when conditions are considered suitable by our team.

- Approximately 12 km from Samsun city center.
- Take-off altitude: approximately 485 meters.
- Our most frequently used flight area.
- Flights can be operated throughout the year when weather conditions are suitable.
Bafra Kapikaya Tandem Flight
- Approximately 90 km from Samsun city center.
- Take-off altitude: approximately 665 meters.
- Located between Derbent and Altinkaya dams.
- The area's geographical conditions can support longer airtime when conditions are suitable.
Ladik Akdag Tandem Flight
- Located at Akdag Ski Center in Ladik.
- Approximately 82 km from Samsun city center.
- Take-off altitude: approximately 1,800 meters.
- Flight route provides views of Ladik Lake and the district.
- Landing is near the district center at approximately 900 meters altitude.
Yakakent Yelkentepe Tandem Flight
- Tandem paragliding flight from our Yelkentepe flight area in Yakakent.
- Operation depends on suitable wind and weather conditions.
